ca’co was born in the Alta Valmarecchia, in the province of Rimini, an Apennine territory on the border between Romagna, Marche and Tuscany.
We are in Pennabilli, in a landscape that invites slowness and relationship, where new ways of inhabiting inland areas are being experimented with, among nature, culture and community.
The story

Who is behind this project, the meeting of two realities.
ca’co was born from the meeting between Vorrei Impresa Sociale, active in the enhancement of the territory of the Upper Marecchia Valley, and Appennino l’Hub, a national program that supports community-based enterprises in inland areas.
People with different skills and experiences participate in this meeting: design, education, communication, architecture, administration, craftsmanship.
A diverse group united by the same vision: to imagine places that generate connections, exchange, new possibilities.
ca’co is the result of this interweaving: an open house, where we can experiment with other ways of living, working, and living together.

APPENNINOL'HUB
Appenninol’Hub is a national program that supports the birth and growth of community-based enterprises in inland areas.
Through training, incubation and accompaniment paths, it has contributed to the creation of more than 50 realities in 12 Italian regions.
Over the years it has built a widespread network of projects, experiences and people working to transform the fragility of the territories into new opportunities for living, working and relating.
VORREI SOCIAL ENTERPRISE
Vorrei is a Pennabilli-based cooperative established to promote active repopulation, enhancement of local economies and social cohesion.
Works on the area’s tangible and intangible heritage, activating cultural projects, educational paths and initiatives to support entrepreneurship.
At the core is the idea that living can generate connections, autonomy and transformation.
